Multi-Criteria Aspects of AI Readiness in the Perspective of Human-Centered Design, Resilience and Sustainable Development Goals
Purpose: Preparation of a comprehensive questionnaire to assess an enterprise's readiness for AI implementation in terms of strategy, access to new data, use of new technologies, changes in human resource utilization, and management aspects, with consideration of sustainability factors. Design/Methodology/Approach: Development of an advanced survey aimed at a comprehensive quantitative analysis of results, indicating the maturity index for AI technology adoption, with consideration of human and environmental factors. Findings: The pilot study was conducted at an IT company in Poland specializing in software development. The research focuses on analyzing activities related to the implementation of artificial intelligence within the company, considering all relevant aspects such as strategies, implementation processes, the effectiveness of applied technologies, and the competencies of the AI technology team. Practical Implications: The development and implementation of a detailed, fully professional assessment form for AI utilization in organizations will contribute to increasing companies' awareness of their position in the field of artificial intelligence and enable better decision-making regarding the further development and implementation of this technology. Originality/Value: Practical solutions to the research problem highlight the need for developing more effective strategies that ensure both efficiency and safety in the implementation of artificial intelligence in organizations, against the backdrop of challenges related to sustainable development. Meanwhile, the available literature addresses the problem only in a fragmented manner.
