Constitutional Economy in the Context of the Concept of Electoral Democracy in Modern Russia

Abstract:

The aim of this research is to formulate an explanatory model based on theoretical reflection and empirical data that can give an increment of knowledge about the theoretical and methodological problems of the application of economic approach to law in terms of the interface points of the constitutional economy and electoral democracy. The leading methodological approach lies in the fact that constitutional Economics explores the impact of constitutional values on economic processes, as well as economic laws and regularities on the formation and interpretation of the constitutional principles within the context of a modern Russian electoral democracy as a political ideology and political practice. The main results of the study is to formulate an explanatory model that allows to allocate several points of junction between the constitutional Economics and electoral democracy.
